Confession/Faith or Admit/Trust Formula
If you need to craft a prayer for a specific purpose, there are a couple of options.
First you could set an intention, e.g. God, I am praying for help to understand what I must do about money, and then launch into a recited prayer, using the meditative state to first put out your plea for help, and second to “hear” any answers and messages that are coming to you.
The second way to do it is to use the confession/faith formula, otherwise known as admit/trust.
All pain is caused by separation - keeping thoughts private is a form of separation as well. So we BREAK PRIVACY and ADMIT or confess to everything we need to.
“I’m scared. I don’t know what to do here. I’m feeling… (lonely, vulnerable, embarrassed, ashamed, jealous, inferior). I need help please.”
Then you TRUST or have faith that the Holy Spirit and God will help you.
This is the REALLY difficult one - and looking back, faith is the one aspect I wish I’d studied more on my journey.
Jesus said that you can move mountains if you have faith the size of a mustard seed…. and those things are like poppy seeds, miniscule.
In my own experience, this is absolutely true - when I give my faith to God, and trust his plan and his timing, then things work out the way he said they would.
But it’s taken me 36 years to get to this point since I woke up.
Faith takes practice. And it takes having your faith confirmed and validated multiple times for you to really start trusting it.
Faith is a verb - faith is GIVEN BY YOU and rewarded by God.
Faith is also dual layer… you give your faith to God, and then you trust yourself to receive the messages correctly, and then NOT to edit for your own ego or someone else’s ego.
What do I mean by editing for ego? When you adjust the message so that it fits into what will make you or another person immediately happy.
A great example would be Jesus with the crucifixion…. he got the message that he would be killed, and if you got a message like that, you would immediately not want to hear it. But he just asked if he really had to go through with it.
This is important because there are many messages that don’t make sense and that you don’t agree with, and so you’re going to resist them.
What does that look like? Well it’s like when you think of someone and then you think, “they must be thinking of me…”, but then you dismiss that thought as wishful thinking.
FAITH means that when that thought comes of “this person is thinking of me”, you trust it. If the denial arises inside you, then you say “NO - I choose to have faith that I am getting the right messages.” You will be doing that thousands of times every day at first.
In the beginning, don’t broadcast your messages that you’re getting, just log them in a journal or remember them - and wait to see it play out in real life.
Once you’ve seen it play out and be confirmed a few hundred times, you’ll begin to ‘know’ what truth ‘feels’ like, and you will know when you can trust messages.
But it takes a few years of ongoing practice to get there ;)
So once you have asked for help, and confessed what you need to, swap to faith and trust, and USE YOUR WORDS to confirm that faith and trust.
So an example could be:
CONFESS: Holy Spirit, I don’t know what to do here, and I need your help.
FAITH: I know that you have helped me previously and I trust you to help me again.
CONFESS: I’m scared and alone. I don’t know what to do.
FAITH: Please choose correct thinking for me. Please correct my misperceptions. Please choose for peace and forgiveness for me.
CONFESS: I don’t know what to do next and I need guidance on my next step.
FAITH: I trust you to reveal the path to me and so I choose to enjoy this time to relax before we get busy and kick off the next step.
You just keep swapping between them and your prayer will always work.
I can’t speed up the confirmation process for you, except to tell you to test yourself with everything. The more validation you get, the faster your faith will grow that you are truly receiving the truth.
And it’s something special to operate from a place where you know it’s real because you’ve experienced it for yourself.
It’s worth chasing - you don’t want to miss it ;)
Learn a prayer and use it as a meditation
This is a very Jewish approach to prayer, where prayer is recited and is formulaic.
This is my preferred method of meditation, and the point of it is that it is meditative.
What meditative in this case means, is that as you are reciting the prayer, it becomes background and habitual, and allows your mind to receive messages from Source.
By praying you overcome the difficulty of keeping your mind clear, you keep your inner voice busy, and you keep yourself focused where you want to be focused.
Often, when people try to meditate, they battle with the silence and letting answers come from that silence.
By praying instead, you circumvent a lot of those issues.
Also you anchor a meditative state to the words eventually, and so it becomes easier to slip into that state by reciting the prayer.
For me, who has been doing this a few years, it means that every time I pray, I trigger downloads and information now.
And it has the benefit of assisting me at the point of death - my default habit is to recite the prayer (containing the name of God) whenever I am scared, bored, lonely in pain - whatever. It’s my go to.
You can bet your bottom dollar I’ll be reciting that as I die…. and if you hold God in your thoughts completely at the moment you cross over, you are guaranteed to cross and not stay stuck in karma.
So you learn, parrot-fashion, an already crafted prayer.
For example, Ana B’Ko’ach is the Jewish Miracle Prayer containing the name of God: http://lifecoachestoolbox.com/index.php/ana-b-ko-ach-videos-by-life-coaches-toolbox (There are slideshows giving the meaning and translation of the prayer on that page, as well as links to watch the videos. The videos have a cool cat purr overlaid for an extra healing boost.)
Ana bekoach, g'dulat yemincha, tatir tz'rura
Kabel rinat amcha sagveinu, tahareinu nora
Na gibor dorshei yichudcha, k'vavat shamrem
Barchem taharem, rachamei tzidkatcha Tamid gamlem
Chasin kadosh berov tuvcha, Nahel adatecha
Yachid ge'eh le'amcha p'neh, zochrei k'dushatecha
Shavateinu kabel ushma tza'akateinu, yode'a ta'alumot
Baruch shem k'vod malchuto le'olam va'ed
We beg thee, with the strength and greatness of thy right arm - untangle our knotted fate.
Accept your people's song, elevate and purify us.
Please, heroic one, those who pursue your uniqueness - guard them as the pupil of an eye.
Bless them, purify them, pity them,
may your righteousness always reward them.
Powerful and Holy One, in goodness lead your flock.
Unique and proud one, to your people turn, who remember your holiness.
Accept our cries, and hear our screams, oh knower of mysteries.
Blessed is the name of his noble kingdom forever and ever.
Other good examples are the Lord’s Prayer or St Francis of Assisi’s Prayer.
Our Father who art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive them who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
and the power, and the glory,
for ever and ever
St Francis’s Prayer
Lord make me an instrument of your peace
Where there is hatred let me sow love
Where there is injury, pardon
Where there is doubt, faith
Where there is despair, hope
Where there is darkness, light
And where there is sadness, joy
O divine master grant that I may
not so much seek to be consoled as to console
to be understood as to understand
To be loved as to love
For it is in giving that we receive
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned
And it's in dying that we are born to eternal life
3. Prayers for Specific Purposes
These are prayers that I have written and built over the years, mostly based on healing knowledge and A Course in Miracles.
Dedicating Relationships to Holiness invites the Holy Spirit into any relationship to remove the ego barriers, and is very powerful if done by both parties. It can be done by one party only though. This is a MUST for Twin Flames. http://lifecoachestoolbox.com/index.php/dedicating-relationships-to-holiness
