Your Heart Chakra years begin at age 21 and continue until 28, with many young adults choosing to marry and start families during this time.
The Heart Chakra is the bridge between the physical and spiritual chakras, and governs the emotional issues of life.

Understanding Chakras - Heart Chakra
Your chakras are seven rotating points of energy on your body. The energy field given off by these seven points collectively makes up your aura.
Your heart chakra is located in the center of your chest on your breastbone. Stimulate it manually by rubbing on the breast bone in the center of your chest or by rubbing the corresponding area on the back.
The color associated to the heart chakra is green. Additionally, the color pink is often associated to the heart chakra.
The heart chakra uses the following symbol and the planetary association for the heart chakra is the Sun.
The element of the heart chakra is air and additional astrological references include Venus, Saturn, and the signs of Libra, Leo, and Sagittarius.
In addition to being the bridge between the physical and spiritual chakras, the heart chakra governs connection on all levels - love, hope, faith, trust, unconditional love, self-love, forgiveness, relationships, intimacy, devotion, depression, and loneliness.
Goals will include issues around stability, trust, physical health, and prosperity.
When working with the heart chakra we're often trying to learn about compassion, the value of forgiveness, and things like unconditional love.
Organs governed by this chakra include the heart and circulatory system, lungs, bronchial tubes, shoulders and arms, diaphragm, thymus gland, immune system, skin, and the upper back.
Affirmations used with this chakra include, "It is safe for me to express love to others", "I deeply and completely love and accept myself", "I am compassionate and forgiving."
The life cycle years for the heart chakra start on your 21st birthday where you start looking at the foundation of love which is loving the self.
Later you get a bit more creative and start to explore love, dating, and seeing what works for you.
Around the age of 23, many young people try to put their personal power of love into expression and you'll find many youngsters get married around this age.
Around the age of 24, you'll find in the heart year of love many young men start getting serious about commitment.
When it comes to the 25 and 26 years when you're working with the voice and the expression of your love, many young adults feel the urge to start a family, get married, and form commitments.
In the next year, you start looking at your future vision of love. Here we often see another round of marriages.
And in the final year you look at the soul and essence of love that becomes the framework for all your relationships moving forward, including the relationship that you have with yourself.
Imbalances in the heart chakra are going to impact you on the emotional level and you'll find you become demanding, jealous, codependent.
You have poor boundaries. You're overly sacrificing and possessive. You may become antisocial, withdrawn, shy, critical, judgmental, intolerant.
You may experience loneliness and despair, depression, fear of intimacy and relationships, a lack of empathy, and narcissism and bitterness.
Physical dysfunctions include disorders of the heart, lungs, thymus, breasts, arms, allergies, circulation issues, immune system deficiencies, and tension that you carry between your shoulder blades.
When your heart chakra is balanced and functioning as it should you are trusting, compassionate, loving, self loving, empathic, peaceful, balanced, and you have a good immune system.
You will also either easily overcome traumas in your past that had to do with rejection, abandonment, loss, shaming, criticism, abuses to your lower chakras, unacknowledged grief, divorces, death, conditional love, sexual and physical abuse, and betrayal.
These issues will no longer feature in your life when your chakra is in balance.
Chants and sounds used to stimulate the heart chakra include YAM, AH, and HAH-HAH is the laughter sound.
Crystals used with the heart chakra include Rose Quartz, Emerald, Jade, Aventurine, Malachite, and Rhodonite.
