A Lesson From Ra, The Sun God

"Make sure the sun always comes up."

The mythology surrounding Ra, and how he fights off the demon of the night in order to make to make the sun rise every morning, has really interesting parallels for us in our lives.

The demon of the the dark is always hungry, always chomping at our heels.... night is always coming. So what do you do to keep the sun coming up every day?

How do you kickstart your day with happiness so that the light of love shines over you?

Personally I use a combination of things and I like to mix it up:

  • Praying
  • Singing
  • Dancing
  • Yoga
  • Gratitude Rampages

In my morning prayer to the Holy Spirit, I am now also choosing for a happy day, setting the intention to have one. I'm actually setting that intention each time I pray - from now until I pray again, I choose a happy period, a happy sleep, a happy drive.
