Basics time: an ego death is a loss of something you perceive you want - the deep and awful realization that this desire you had will never be fulfilled.

The shortcut? Accept it!!

Now special relationships...

Special relationships are the final big push ego makes at every level - and give poor Ego some credit here, it's fighting for its life, literally, poor thing. Life is a tough habit to break.

So what Ego says is that no relationship with God will ever fulfill you as much as a relationship with a flesh and blood person will.

The Ego death is realizing that no flesh and blood relationship will ever give you what God can. In a way it's the realization that you can only be complete alone.

That can be a bitter pill to swallow as a twin flame under unity energy.

Sex

Soul Contracts

Karma

Money and gifts are not love languages - they're what people give instead of presence.

Words of praise and loving communication should be standards in any relationship, but I haven't reconciled how the self esteem issue fits in. Will feedback when I do.
