Stress and emotional eating

People often try to fix stress and emotional eating by applying rules to food.

If you don't want to eat because you're triggered by stress and emotion, then clear the stress and emotion away.

You won't need to overeat if you're feeling at peace, secure and rested.

And it's a permanent solution to the weight.

Ego & People's Responses

If the person agrees with you, you're passionate.

If your point of view offends them or conflicts theirs, or seems to offer more logic than theirs, then you are aggressive.

Ego and conversion - conversion is lazy faith

The more I think about conversion vs seeking, the more I realise that conversion is lazy faith.

The thing about the journey is that it is hard - and whether you're consciously journeying or even just manifesting, it's all about building faith, and stamina of faith.

Everything boils down to faith in the end.

Science is as much a religion as Christianity or Islam

Unless you have physically conducted every experiment yourself, and verified the existence of every element of any scientific "evidence" you present, your scientific evidence has no more validity than anything presented in any spiritual or religious text.

Whether you are reading a text book or a religious text, you are reading the words of a man you don't know, written down, and you have accepted them as the truth - when you don't even have proof that that author exists in fact.

Like the stories presented in religious and spiritual teachings, science (fiction) is the hearsay and observation of others who (apparently) experienced it, and then recorded it for posterity.

Spiritual seekers and the manifesting money conflict

So continuing on the why we battle with manifesting money thread:

One of the aspects of the system that is apparent to everyone is money, but we can't really figure out why money plays such a crucial role.

It has to do with manifestation and focus: manifesting money takes time and focus away from time spent on God.

A healer's perspective on manifestation

A thought just occurred... the whole concept of single-mindedly focusing on a goal when you're manifesting is really difficult to do, and it's where most of us fall over.

And then I realized its because it's an unnatural process - it requires us to ignore the shadow: the doubts and fears etc.

Those ego/shadow emotions are not emotions that like to be ignored - if you just avoid them, they only get louder and louder.

Then I thought, there has to be a way or point that the alignment with the resonance happens instantaneously - as a revelation.
