Massaging Your Lymph for Easier Shifting & Weight Loss
How & why you should massage your stomach and lymph daily
So when I first sit down with a client, I usually ask them if they know what to expect from shifting and healing. For the most part, the answer is no.
In a nutshell, what you need to know about shifting and healing is that it utilizes the natural processes that already exist in your body - so when stuff is released it goes into your lymph, excretory system, sweat etc.
Why this happens is that healing changes your body on the level of DNA - so old material and records are flushed away as your body makes space for the new changes.
That old material is sent away to be excreted through the default channels available.
What this means for you practically is tummy bubbling and gurgling sounds, burping, passing wind (or farting!), urination, your stomach working or even running, sweats, heavier periods, blocked lymph nodes, nausea, vomiting, rashes… there are so many ways something can leave your system, and when your system is flushing old stuff out, it will use every available avenue to release what is no longer needed.
The severity and content of the shift can also impact your shifting experience, as does the general and overall wellbeing and health condition you’re in.
So an ascension or joy surge can just lead to frequent urination, but releasing a traumatic or painful memory may see you throwing up, or possibly even feeling ill for a few days.
So what does all this have to do with massaging your stomach and lymph?
Like all the other basics and daily basics, managing theses systems will help your body cope better and prevent potential issues from becoming bigger problems down the line.
There are two layers of massage you want to do here - first to help the large intestine and your overall digestion, so a deep tummy massage, and second a lighter, skin-level massage or stroking, to help your lymph move through your system.
This will not only help you release more effectively, it will also prevent your system from getting blocked and clogged up in the first place.
